Pizza places in the United States run from a counter with two stools and a stack of boxes to a full sit-down pizzeria with a bar, and most neighborhood shops do all three things at once: dine-in, takeout and delivery. Ordering by phone is still common and often faster than an app, and many independents charge less when you call direct because there is no platform fee. Sizes are usually listed in inches (a small around 10", a large 14", an extra-large 16" or more), and a large feeds two to three adults. Slices are sold from a display case at New York-style counters and reheated to order; whole pies take 15-25 minutes at a busy shop. Most spots take cards and mobile pay, though a few older pizzerias remain cash-only, so check the door or the listing before you order.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are 11 amβ9 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach New York Pizza and Pints at (469) 795-9408; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. I had a very unpleasant and unprofessional experience at this location and, unfortunately, will not be returning. I ordered a Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich and asked what type of bread would be used. The employee responded, βregular bread,β with an attitude. When I asked what βregular breadβ meant, she was not helpful or accommodating in explaining the options. We also ordered a slice of pizza. Two customers who arrived after us received their orders in full before we received ours. To make matters worse, when I asked for ketchup for my sandwich, I was told I would have to pay an additional $1 for it. While I understand that businesses may charge for certain extras, the overall experience and manner in which everything was handled made the situation even more frustrating. We then asked to speak with a manager. After speaking with the manager in Spanish, the shorter female employee handed us the phone and proceeded to grandstand and taunt us by dancing in front of us. This behavior was extremely disrespectful and completely inappropriate for someone representing a business. The customer service, professionalism, and attitude we experienced were unacceptable. There are plenty of pl

Got the 24" Piezilla! Large slices! Food was good for the price. Garlic knots were delicious! Lots of sauce to go with your knots.

I ate here for a while. Cool spot. Nice pizza ... but they dont pay attention. If I order a pineapple pizza , I don't expect to see any meat on it. I dont expect to see anything but pineapple on it ! Happened more then once. So i figured they might be removing old ones and rebuilding. Cause no way I should have beef on my food. I dont eat beaf

I was thoroughly pleased with the thin, tasty crust. It was a prefect mix of crunchy and chewy. My photo does not dp it justice I promise. It hit the table hot and fresh. This is the closest that I've personally found in DFW to what I've found in Manhattan. They even offer pizza by the slice. Definitely worth a try.

When Juan took his time to chat with his customers about the pizza business and just DFW in general, you know that you've arrived at the right spot. We were searching for a new pizza joint to try, that's within driving distance and that also serves beer . We came across New York Pizza & Pints and decided to gave it a try. Boy did we find ourselves in a complete surprise. First time in decades having NY style pizza, outside of the state of NY and New York Pizza & Pints hit all the marks. Pizzas were baked to perfection and in a timely manner, even as we ordered a gigantic 24" pie! When enjoying a slice of NY style pizza, ya gotta be able to fold it like a taco and eat it with one hand - and you can certainly do it with the slices here, even with slices from a 24" pie! While a 24" pie may seem huge at a glance, we were able to finish 3/4 of it, leaving just 2 slices to take to go. At first we were apprehensive to try New York Pizza & Pints, cuz it was located in the Allen Outlets, due to possible over stimulation for our son with ASD. But our son enjoyed his time here, so that is a huge plus for us. Thanks Juan, we'll be regulars! Keep doing what you're doing, cuz amigo, you're doin
